Formby High's 'Bin the bag' project is all about helping Formby become an Eco Friendly town by using bags for life from supermarkets instead of single use plastic bags which damage the environment.

Currently here at Formby High we have different groups working in different areas of our 'Bin the bag' scheme. We have a radio group which are working on a radio production about bin the bag. We have a television group who are making a television advert. We have an international group which are sending off a questionnaire to different countries, a design group making our own brand of bin the bag reusable bags. We are printing our own T shirts and have been in Formby Village talking to locals giving them free re-useable bags from Waitrose, Broughs, M&S, Tesco and Asda. One group also went for a visit to Waitrose to find out what they are doing to help the environment.
