Opportunities for students to participate in activities outside the formal curriculum are many and varied.

Extra-curricular activities currently available are as follows:

• Sport with Football, Hockey, Rugby, Basketball, Badminton, Cricket, Athletics, Tennis, Table Tennis, Netball, Gymnastics,  Rounders, Cross Country and Trampolining.
• Music with Community Choir, ‘Midnight Voices’ senior choir, ‘Mundo Afrika!’ African choir and percussion group, Wind Orchestra, Jazz Group, Rock Group, Gospel Choir, Various Instrumental Groups and Peripatetic Tuition.
• Junior and Senior Drama Groups with regular public productions.
• Junior and Senior Dance Groups.  Boys’ Dance Project.
• Duke of Edinburgh Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards and Orienteering.
• Theatre visits.
• Community Service in the 6th Form.
• Art/ Spanish cultural visits
• Foreign language trips to Europe.
• Sporting Holidays (Ski-ing).
• Music tours to various destinations in Europe and beyond (China in 2005, Kenya in 2007 & Canada for 2009)
• Visits to centres of cultural interest.

The range and quality of extra-curricular activities represent a major strength of the school.
